Ideally you will be a qualified Chef with minimum 4 years experience, or a very good cook, with references to back this up. This position offers the opportunity of long term employment, with genuine opportunities to grow with the team, and take on some sole charge shifts.
Since redesigning the kitchen and creating new menus, the business has gone from strength to strength, and now is the perfect time to bring on a new team member into this close knit team.
Working alongside a passionate Head Chef, will enable you to really learn and grow your career. The ideal candidate will have experience in stand alone restaurants, with some function / catering experience. The business operates over 7 days with Thursday - Sunday being their busiest times, you would be required to be available these days most weeks.
For the right candidate this will be a full time permanent position with a starting hourly rate of $24 - $25 hour, plus uniforms. If you live in Christchurch, this isn't an issue as we pay a fortnightly travel allowance of $115.00 towards your petrol costs.
