The Ashburton Club & MSA has been the heart & sole of the local community for generations of members & their families. At the forefront of the local hospitality scene, we are excited to announce the long awaited extension to the club, with a newly created restaurant / bar, with new meeting and function space nearing completion. As such we are on the hunt for an experienced EAM to stamp their mark on this exciting opportunity!
This is an opportunity for you to put all your past skills and experiences learnt along the way into practice, as you help drive this exciting property. It goes with out saying that you will have a calm head and strong leadership skills, while leading from the front. Flexibility in the role is paramount at this very busy property, where you will showcase your skills and inspire the staff to exceed customers expectations.
You will be fully responsible for all aspects of the Food & Beverage departments. From working alongside the Executive Chef on menu creation, managing costings, to building a new team. It goes without saying that you can use a computer, & create systems as this exciting multi-million dollar project nears completion.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an HOD, looking after multiple outlets, including a firm understanding of all aspects of a busy operation. This would include, but not limited to F&B, HR and conferencing and events. An out going and friendly personality, well groomed and excellent communication skills are a must!
