The main responsibility of this role is to achieve supervisory skills in each department, attain all competencies and/or skills outlined in the training log, while developing and learning the management culture to become a future Financial Controller.
You will establish, implement and continue to monitor all aspects around this position, while following the policies and procedures of the property, and become an integral part of the team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be results driven, can multi-task and has superior organisational skills. You will have the ability, and self motivation to work alone and collaboratively within this tight knit team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, problem solving & computer skills.
You could be a recent graduate with a finance degree, accounting diploma or have previous experience within the hospitality industry (hotels) and an understanding of the below would be an advantage when applying for this position:
- Accounts payable,
- Daily banking,
- Assisting with payroll
- Accounts receivable functions
- Can assist the financial controller with month end tasks.
