This position is responsible for driving all aspects of conference and events sales, with a view to maximising all conference and events revenue.
Skills & Experience required:
- Excellent client relation skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Time management skills with excellent follow-up and strong attention to detail
- Goal setting, monitoring and achieving
- Ability to work within a cross-functional team at times as well as ability to work independently and think proactively
- Be proficient in writing, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience in using conference and events software, generating quotes, sending contracts, creating event orders and sending out invoices
- Minimum two years experience in a similar role
