We are on the hunt for a super talented numbers person to join one of New Zealand's exciting, and growing accomodation brands. This position is responsible for all aspects of the Accounts and Night Audit Functions. You will establish, implement and continue to monitor all finance and accounting policies and procedures of the properties, and become an integral part of the team.

Reporting to the General Manager & Financial Operations Controller NZ, you will impose a disciplined financial control environment with a focus on cost control throughout the properties.

We are looking for someone that is results driven, can multi-task and has superior organisational skills. You will have the ability, and self motivation to work alone and collaboratively within this tight knit team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, problem solving & computer skills.

Having previous experience within the hospitality industry (hotels or accommodation) and a strong understanding of the below would be an advantage when applying for this position:

Key responsibilities include all the below functions:
  • Monthly financial and management reporting
  • Management of the general ledger eg bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Cashiering consolidation
  • Payroll – including the associated reporting
  • Weekly and adhoc reporting
The role is Wellington based and we are looking for someone that is hands on and can manage a small team reporting into them (5 people).
